Lighting is an important aspect of a conversion. It can make a big difference a van’s aesthetic and ease-of-use.

We have worked with manufacturers to develop our own range of LED lighting with compact 12v campervan usage in mind. LED Lights are more energy efficient than compact halogen lights and they achieve full brightness instantly so you don’t have to wait for them to warm up! Each model has two brightness settings; one for full illumination and a lower light setting (this could be used to save power, as a night light or just to provide a softer light).

All of our lights are individually switched, with a rocker switch on the strip and flex light and a touch sensor on the circular light.

N.B. Please note that we have had a lot of returns of this product saying it wasn’t working and when tested they have all worked! The light HAS to be fitted to a flat surface that isn’t grounded (because the touch sensor uses you as the ground to make it work, it can’t be within 20mm of the metal body of the vehicle. We always fit them under cupboards) and if the fixing screws are done up too tight again it won’t work, and is a simple case of slackening off the screw until it does work. Lastly the touch sensing wire MUST NOT BE CAUGHT by the fixing screw you use (make sure they are small No4 screws).
